Dissertations/theses 

Master's candidates

  •  December graduation submission deadlines:
    • Submission of dissertation: 01 July 2019
    • Intention to submit: 01 May 2019 

NB: Students who submit their corrections by 21 October 2019, as well as meeting the requirements for their qualification, may attend the graduation ceremony in December 2019, subject to final qualification status by the Faculty Office.

  • April graduation submission deadlines:
    • Intention to submit: 16 August 2019
    • Submission of dissertation: 01 October 2019

NB: Students who submit their corrections by 31 January 2020, as well as meeting the requirements for their qualification, may attend the graduation ceremony in April 2020, subject to final qualification status by the Faculty Office

PhD candidates

  • It is recommended that the thesis be submitted for examination 5 months before the graduation ceremony to allow time for the examination process to run its course. The university does not however undertake to reach a decision on the award of the degree by any specific date.
