Registration: by 10 February of each year 

Dissertations/theses 

Master's candidates

  •  December graduation submission deadlines:
    • Submission of dissertation: 01 July 2020
    • Intention to submit: 01 May 2020

NB: Students who submit their corrections by 21 October 2020, as well as meeting the requirements for their qualification, may attend the graduation ceremony in December 2020, subject to final qualification status by the Faculty Office.

  • April graduation submission deadlines: (The 2021 ceremony has not been confirmed)
    • Intention to submit: 16 August 2020
    • Submission of dissertation: 01 October 2020

NB: Students who submit their corrections by 31 January 2021, as well as meeting the requirements for their qualification, may attend the graduation ceremony in June 2021, subject to final qualification status by the Faculty Office.

PhD candidates

  • It is recommended that the thesis be submitted for examination 5 months before the graduation ceremony to allow time for the examination process to run its course. The university does not however undertake to reach a decision on the award of the degree by any specific date.
